Saber Force starter deck to introduce new Duelists to the game. The decks are tuned to help beginning Duelists learn the game and play with their friends.

Saber Force starter deckThe Deck has some great Spell and Trap cards, including Dust Tornado, Smashing Ground, Calculator, and Cyber Dragon. It also features a great Monster, Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon.

Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon

The most recognizable monster of the Odd-Eyes archetype, this LIGHT card is an excellent addition to any Deck. Its benefits are clear regarding its effect that allows us to Special Summon any Rank 7 monster from our Extra Deck. It makes it a good choice for an archetype that tries to cover all Extra Deck summons and brings an extensive arsenal of Pendulum Monsters to the field.

This card gives us more options in the Extra Deck by allowing us to send cards from your hand, Deck, or side of the field to the Graveyard. It can be very useful if we search for some of the Rank 7 monsters we may need.

Dark Hole

The first-ever image of a black hole, 6.5 billion times the size of Earth, shows jets of plasma spewing from its event horizon. The scientists behind the idea say they have captured a snapshot of the “dark side” of the universe.

The 41-card Saber Force starter deck features several of Yuya and Declan’s favourite cards and is tuned to teach new Duelists how to play right out of the box. Each version of the Deck is based on one of the show’s main characters so that you can Duel with your friends, siblings, or classmates!

This Deck contains a few different cards than the European version, including three more Spells.

Dust Tornado

Unlike other Equip Spell Cards, Dust Tornado must be on the field for its effect to resolve. The opponent’s card effects can destroy it to negate them, and it allows you to Set 1 Spell or Trap Card when it is triggered. It can also destroy the target of cards such as Smoke Grenade of the Thief and Big Bang Shot to prevent those cards from being removed from play. However, your opponent can chain with cards like Big Bang Shot to destroy the target of the card targeted by Dust Tornado and negate its effect. That’s not a good thing.

Smashing Ground

One of the oldest monster destruction effects out there, Smashing Ground, destroys one face-up monster your opponent controls with the highest DEF (if it’s a tie, you choose). While it’s not as good as it used to be, it can still be used in some builds. Its main benefit is that it doesn’t target, so it can bypass many of the defensive monsters that are popular in today’s era.

However, its drawbacks are also significant. With spell monsters like Dark Hole and Soul Taker now being much better options, Smashing Ground is no longer as good as it used to be. It also only destroys one monster, and it’s not searchable, so if your opponent plays a beast with high DEF and you don’t have another monster to destroy with Smashing Ground, you’ll probably lose.

This 41-card Deck features several cards Yuya and Declan use in their Duel and is designed to help beginning Duelists learn how to play. It includes 35 Common Cards, 5 Shatterfoil Cards, 1 Foil Card, a Beginner’s Guide, and a game mat.

This Saber Force starter deck, released in 2015 alongside the Dark Legion Starter Deck, features 41 cards based on the two main characters of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TV series, Yuya and Declan. It also comes with a beginner’s guide, game mat, and five shatter-foil cards featuring a relaxed shattered style.

Cyber Dragon

Since its first appearance in the booster pack Cybernetic Revolution in 2005, this monster has been a powerhouse that shifts the meta-game. With a respectable 2100 ATK points, it easily beats most non-Chaos monsters, and its special summon requirement is relatively easy. While it does not have the same OTK potential as other stronger Machine monsters in modern Yu-Gi-Oh!, it can still work well with Xyz and Link Summons, which are vital in the current meta-game.
